Hope and Joy

Life’s adventure continues to be a spiritually refreshing journey thanks to my wife. Our relationship with God and his supremacy, superiority, sovereignty and sufficiency is what has blessed myself and my wife for these many exciting years of business life, church ministries, family growth and biblical counseling. We are excited to see how God will lead in the years to come. For it is God who works within us, both to will and to work for his good pleasure (Philippians 2:13).

Much of the credit for my education goes to my parents, Roy and Lucille Dykes. After completing high school, and beginning formal studies the credit for completing college rested on Dr. Lee Roberson, and the Tennessee Temple professors, graduating with a B.A. in Psychology. Later came both, a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling.

The weekly, 15-minute TV ministry of HOPE & JOY came from a desire to provide biblical counseling on specific subjects as a means of encouraging believers to never abandon hope and joy in God and his Word. God ministers hope and joy to his people through faith in his promises, and the sufficiency of Scripture. If you miss a show, they are all loaded in the ON Demand section of the site.
